Upper Badlands has sourced the land and signed lease deals with Lindsay-area property owners for the wind project.
The land is sectioned off to ensure the development project has strategic turbine micro-siting considerations as well as infrastructure to sustain the project.
The project has access to 3 locations with up to 360 acres to locate the data center and the 2 gas plants within the footprint of the project and is easy to access to Glendive, Montana and the local airport. The local gas utility will provide underground piping for transmission to the site which will be to provide gas to the generating plants.
High Speed Internet Access
Upper badlands fiber consultant has designed the internet access with 4 primary services routes with 2 terserary routes. This access will be located in the Central Hub being constructed onsite for secure limited access to the data floor.
Transmission
Upper Badlands is being developed to provide energy produced within its footprint to supply energy for the data center consumption. A regional utility company has expressed interest in purchasing excess energy from the facilities and will provide access to the grid.
